Adventurer Classes

Arcanist
These mages are the masters of arcane magic. Their powers come from the arcane; the unknown void of the cosmos which is not of the natural world. Their powers range from simple magical tricks, to unreal summoning and powerful attack and defense spells. The most powerful arcanist is the Warlock. The Warlock is the master of all the arcane professions. The other classes from low path to high, are Magician, Thaumaturgist, Illusionist, and Summoner. The arcanist starts as a Magician and works his way up to the final path.
Barbarian
Barbarians are wary of all magic and never handle enchanted items, though there are have been some notable exceptions. They believe only what they see as real. Because of that, they rarely believe illusions, unless it's a vision from their Shaman. The Barbarians are wild and untamed "painted people" who are very resourceful warriors. Both the male and the females live out in the land and have thus grown very strong and resilient. Adapting to their harsh environment, has allowed them to heal faster, learn to hit more in a round of combat and use their adrenaline rushes and beserker rages to effectively do more damage to their attackers. Don't be cross with one, or you'll be right sorry.
Bard
The Bard's music is a rare magical enchantment. These musical enchaters are experts with lore and legend. Many parties feel they need one of these Peacocks in their ranks since they are part Rogue, part Warrior and a little bit o' a Mage of sorts. Their abilities in music, sword handling and the more Roguish arts, make them a valuable asset to any adventurer. Late in their professions the Bards learn to read spell scrolls.
Elementalist
These Elementalists are masters of at least one of the four elements of Fire, Earth, Water and Air. They hold much power over their environments and can wreak havoc on any who would be enemies. Despite their awesome power, many of them put forth their talents to serve Nature. The most powerful of all, the Isomancer, has equal control of all four elements. In contrast to the Arcanist, the Elementalist can start his or her profession however he likes, but cannot start as an Isomancer. These paths they can choose are Pyromancer (Fire), Aeromancer (Air), Hydromancer (Water), and Geomancer (Earth).
Monk
They do more than just meditating and praying. The Monks are Holy martial artists who despite their commitment to good and serving others, are powerful fighters. These robed men and women weild mystic abilities from the way of enlightenment, which imbues them with abilities like making healing balms and blessed talismans. No enemy is immune to strong flesh and bone. Since Monks are experts at hand-to-hand combat, they can effectively damage any foe they make contact with.
Paladin
Paladins start out as fighters devoted to the divine who protect and preserve justice. As they develop, they become great clerics devoted to the Temple and slow down, but never surrender their fighting skills. When Paladins start learning divine magic, they focus on healing and banishing undead and evil creatures. This unique path makes them the only magical talents who can wear most of the armors and use most weapons. They are a powerful force indeed. The higest Paladins, the Lords of Mercy, won't be merciful if you face them in battle and you happen to be evil or undead.
Psi Knight
Ancient beings weilding strange "mind" powers are reputed to have helped design many of the World's wonders. They may have been sent to guide the initiates in the control of the great standing stones of the North Isles. These "Psi Knights" were trained as elite swordsmen and herald messengers in the bad outlands who served the ancient beings of "mind magic" . Somewhere along the way, these strange beings thought that these "guardians" needed training in the harnessing of mind forces to make them more effective and thus their way was born. They have passed down their art from generation to generation and live in almost occultic obscurity. In the ancient days, they were always there fighting for those who needed them.
Ranger
The Ranger is the master bowman, guardian of nature and often a partner with an Elementalist. Their knowledge of creature critical weaknesses makes them the most efficient killers of any class, though they take a slower and more careful approach to learning this art. This art is for the good of nature and animals, as Rangers are reputed to be able to speak with the creatures big and small and can even ask them to do their bidding. At higher levels, the Ranger becomes adept at making "something out of nothing", a survival skill passed on to them by one of the best wilderness spies ever; MacGyvar. Though they are called many things in their career, including Beast master, Hunter and Druid, we have come to know them as Rangers.
Rogue
Rogues are experts at thievery, stealth and infiltration. A good Rogue can always get to those who are unreachable. At high levels, the Rogue's abilities in detecting and disarming traps and melding into the shadows are outstanding and almost mysterious. The well trained Rogue is the ultimate master of thrown weapons and posesses a "Cat-Like-Awareness" that seldom fails to let them strike first in combat. They are always deadly and have no conscience about poisoning their weapons and setting traps for the unsuspecting intruder.
Saurian Red Claw
These evolved Lizard Men are walking weapons, be it with their teeth, tail or claws. Their natural Reptilian scale protection is as good as many types of body armor. Therefore, they only wear a few items like shields and amulets and the only weapons they may carry are ranged weapons, though you are still likely to see one weilding a great 2-handed War Axe, and if you do; Watch out!
Warrior
Warriors are the masters of all weapons and can wear any armor they please. They can attack multiple opponents in one round and still draw an arrow for the next foe. Their profiency in all weapons is unrivaled and unlimited as they are the most highly trained and the most well rounded of fighters. They have a good proficiency in all weapons, whereas other classes like the Rogue are specialized. At higer positions in their career, some of these awesome fighters learn to channel the great warriors of the past and fight "as them" in battle and they can cause a foe to surrender and flee with just their "air of power".
